Another Mass Shooter Charged With 4 Counts of Murder

Among the Victims Was a 9 Year Old Boy

Following a shooting spree in a Southern California (one of the most restrictive gun control states!) office building that killed four, including a nine-year-old boy, a man was charged on Friday with murder and attempt to kill.

According to Orange County prosecutors, the suspect Aminadab Gaxiola.

Gonzalez, 44 has been slapped with an attempt to murder two cops after he fired at them when they reached the crime scene late Wednesday. Another woman suffered wounds but survived.

According to authorities, Gaxiola chained the gates to the business complex in an attempt to close them before he conducted the attack.

“Taking the life of another human being is the most serious of crimes and the slaughter of multiple people while they were essentially locked in a shooting gallery is nothing short of terrifying,” District Attorney Todd Spitzer made this statement.

The suspect is in critical but stable condition and was expected to be arraigned on Friday from his hospital bed.

It is not clear where he was shot during the attack against authorities, and authorities are looking into whether he was shot by the police or if it was self-inflicted harm.

The victims who have been identified as mobile home brokerage business owner Luis Tovar 50, Jenevieve Raygoza 28, and Matthew Farias 9.

Investigative agencies said on record that the suspect and victims of an adult age enjoyed both personal and business ties but the shooting was not a random violent act.

The boy’s uncle Zef Farias said that the third-grader from the neighboring city of Santa Ana, Matthew, was just at the wrong place at the wrong time.

The under-aged boy has a passion for bike riding and he attended daycare.

His uncle said that he wasn’t sure why he was at the office with his mother Tamayo – but that his mother the only survivor. She remains in the hospital.

“He normally doesn’t go there,” Farias told, struggling to hold back his tears. “They were just part of the collateral damage.”

The murder charges slapped on Gaxiola make him run the risk of being tried for the death penalty. We can only hope.

This is the third mass shooting in two weeks after the supermarket shooting in Boulder, Colorado killing 10 and a week earlier, eight were killed at three Atlanta-area spas.

Gaxiola was earlier charged in 2015 in Orange County with cruelty to a child and other counts. He pleaded guilty to misdemeanor battery and served one day in jail. The remaining charges were squashed and the conviction expunged in 2017, said Lauren Gold, spokeswoman for the city of Anaheim.
