Top 10 Concealed Carry Guns #9: FMK 9C1 G2 9mm “Patriot’s Gun”
FMK 9c1 G2 PROS: Affordable. Accurate. Patriotic. Fits all holsters, accessories, lasers, sights, and everything else that fits the super popular Glock 19.
FMK 9c1 G2 PROS: Can’t think of one!
If you like the Glock 19, you’re going to LOVE this FMK. Designed to fit in all the Glock 19 holsters, accessories, sights, and lasers – but also designed to be much nicer on your wallet.
I’ve been shooting for a long time. I’ve shot just about every handgun on the planet. I’ve felt every trigger, every slide, every slide stop switch, and every handgun frame on the market.
There’s no gun that I love as much as I love the FMK 9c1 G2 9mm.
FMK stands for “For My Kountry” – and they created a fantastic firearm that will not only feel comfortable in your hand, but also is friendly to your wallet.
We all know that the most popular carry gun on the planet is the Glock 19. Everybody knows what a Glock is, and everyone knows how much a Glock costs.
The best part about the FMK 9C1 G2 is the price tag: under $400 bucks.
FMK 9C1 G2 9mm Carry Gun Fast Facts:
- Made to fit all Glock 19 holsters, accessories, lasers, flashlights, and sights
- Optional engraving of the complete Bill of Rights on slide
- Comes with either the FAT or DAO triggers (explained below)
- Multiple color options available
Choose the optional Bill of Rights Engraving!
FMK 9C1 G2 Trigger Options: DAO or FAT?
DAO stands for “Double Action Only” and FAT stands for “Fast Action Trigger.”
The 9C1 does not have an option for an EXTERNAL safety. It does have a trigger safety on it, but no external thumb safety on it.
With the FAT (Fast Action Trigger), you have a short, crisp trigger pull. The DAO (Double Action Only) is still a smooth trigger, but it is just a bit longer of a trigger pull – which in turn makes the gun less likely to go off if you aren’t intentionally pulling the trigger. The DAO version also has a magazine disconnect, which means the trigger won’t work unless the magazine is inserted.
Bottom line: the FMK 9C1 G2 FAT trigger is the standard option, but the DAO option provides extra safety options. The FMK 9C1 G2 is approved in Massachusetts or California with the DAO trigger option only.
Attention Women: This Gun is For You, Too!
Women love this gun. Yes, it comes in some girly colors like pink and teal, but more importantly, its SUPER easy to operate the gun. The slide racks back easily for a women and the slide stop is extremely smooth.
If you’re a women and not sure what gun you’re looking for, the FMK 9C1 G2 will absolutely be a gun you’ll fall in love with.
Top 10 Concealed Carry Guns #8: Smith & Wesson Bodyguard .380ACP
Smith & Wesson Bodyguard .380ACP PROS: Affordable. Concealable. Lightweight. Reliable. Lifetime warranty. Fits in your front or back pocket.
Smith & Wesson Bodyguard .380ACP CONS: Some people complain about the trigger pull – but we feel this is a feature designed to prevent the gun from going off accidentally when carrying.
We just can’t say enough about the Smith & Wesson Bodyguard .380ACP. This is a fantastic carry gun with excellent features at a GREAT price. Built-in laser. External thumb safety. Lock-back on empty. You can’t beat this gun for this price.
If you’re thinking about conceal carrying a firearm, this gun should be on your mind.
The sub-compact polymer frame weighs 11.85 ounces and can be easily concealed anywhere on the body for personal protection. When carrying this firearm, it’s almost like it isn’t there.
You can literally put the Bodyguard 380 in your pocket and not only forget about it being there, but also have room to spare. With (6+1) capacity this gun has enough firepower to stop any threat and also has a dual mode laser for quick point and shoot situations.
Should you buy the Smith * Wesson Bodyguard .380 WITH or WITHOUT the laser?
We absolutely LOVE the Smith & Wesson Bodyguard .380 – with or without the laser. You don’t need a laser to be accurate if you practice enough!
In fact, some people think that having no laser on your concealed carry pistol is better than having a laser.
The Smith & Wesson Bodyguard .380 is one of the coolest pocket pistols on the market today. Have you held one? It feels great in the hand – almost like an extension of your hand!
BODYGUARD 380: PERFECT POCKET PISTOL!
The Bodyguard is a great firearm itself, but it is also an incredible conceal carry gun. I would consider its frame size to be classified as a “pocket pistol” rather than a sub-compact because of how small it really is.
Without being loaded down by ammo the firearms weighs only 11.85 ounces and can easily fit in the palm of a hand. One great feature that Smith&Wesson includes with the gun is the finger extended floor plate for the magazine. It does not change the capacity of the firearm but does allow you to be able to have a larger resting spot for you last finger in order to get a better grip on the gun.
Other features that surprised me are the external features like the manual safety, slide stop/release, and take-down pin. Mainly because they usually are not available on a gun of this size, such as the Ruger LCP, or Kel-Tec P3AT.
The External take-down pin make field stripping and reassembly quite simple, it does not require the use of any tools other than your hands. Many people also prefer an external safety and the Smith&Wesson Bodyguard 380 has a very simple thumb activated/deactivated one as well as a long trigger pull which also acts as a safety.
Top 10 Concealed Carry Guns #7: Ruger LC9s or Ruger LC9s PRO
Ruger LC9s Pros: Slim. Compact. Lightweight. Excellent trigger pull!
Ruger LC9s Cons: Hard to pull back. Stiff. Difficult to use.
Ruger LC9s and LC9s Pro: The Pefect Carry Gun for Everyday Carry (EDC)
The Ruger LC9s Pro is a workhorse of carry guns. This gun is lightweight, concealable, and extremely accurate.
- The trigger pull on this carry gun is better than a Glock – and WAY better than the Smith & Wesson M&P Series
- The light trigger leads to a crisp pull – which will keep you on target much faster and easier – potentially a LIFE SAVING FEATURE on this carry gun
- This is a CARRY gun – perfectly slim and compact for your everyday carry (EDC)
- The Ruger LC9s Pro frame is made of the absolute latest and strongest technology
The new Ruger LC9s Pro is one of the most bad ass concealed carry pistols to hit our online gun storethis year. The LC9s Pro is the same size and shape as the traditional Ruger LC9s, but the gun seems entirely different. This gun seems more… intimidating….and it is!
If you’re a new gun owner and don’t have a lot of experience with concealed carry, this gun may not be the right gun for you. But if you’re a seasoned concealed carry holder, or you’re especially excellent with firearm safety, this gun might be right up your ally.
There is no margin of error: when you put just a light amount of pressure on that trigger, the gun will go off. That’s what makes it such an awesome carry gun.
Ruger LC9, LC9s, and Ruger LC9s Pro: What’s the Difference?
They may look entirely the same, but these are two vastly different guns made for two vastly different customers. The Ruger LC9 is a double-action-only single stack 9mm automatic pistol which features an external thumb safety and a magazine disconnect safety. It had a long, firm trigger pull on it which most concealed carriers loved. It was an added safety barrier.
The Ruger LC9s is somewhat of an upgrade to the Ruger LC9. The LC9s has a really sweet single-action trigger. The trigger is one of the best trigger pulls that we have ever felt in a concealed carry pistol.
Original Ruger LC9:
- Bad-ass/lightweight/sleek carry pistol that fits just about anywhere
- Great feeling double-action-only trigger pull keeps you from accidentally discharging your firearm
- Manual thumb safety that kept you doubly safe
- Magazine safety made the pistol inoperable with no magazine – triple the safety!
Ruger LC9s:
- Exactly the same size and shape as the original LC9
- Newly designed striker-fired action which lead to a trigger pull better than a Glock’s
- Will not fire without magazine in
Ruger LC9s Pro:
- No thumb safety
- Sweet trigger pull
- Fires without magazine in
- Trigger safety only
- #uhohgunaccident
Top 10 Concealed Carry Guns #6: Honor Defense Honor Guard 9mm
Honor Guard 9mm PROS: Completely ambidextrous. Affordable. Concealable. Lightweight. Compact.
Honor Guard 9mm CONS: Difficult to rack. The slide lock cannot be used to bring the slide forward.
We spent a LOT of time marketing and promoting the Honor Guard 9mm – for good reason! Its one of the all time best carry guns on the market today.
Top 10 Concealed Carry Guns #5: Sig Sauer P238 .380 (Black Wood Grips)
Sig Sauer P238 PROs: Lightweight. Simple. Fits in your pocket. Smooth as butter. Accurate.
Sig Sauer P238 Cons: Quite literally, the only problem with this gun is the PRICE!
The Sig P238 is one of the most popular pocket .380s on the market today. This is a great looking defensive gun – and will never let you down.
The Sig P238 is absolutely the ideal “pocket gun” – if you can afford it! This is by far one of the highest quality concealed carry guns on the market. But it comes at hefty price!

Top 10 Concealed Carry Guns #4: Glock 30SF
No top 10 gun list would be complete without having a Glock or two in the mix. The Glock 30SF holds a whopping 10 rounds of 45ACP. If you can’t stop a threat in 10 rounds of 45ACP, you should have brought a TANK to the fight!
Top 10 Concealed Carry Guns #3: Walther PK38 with laser
The Walther PK380 has one of the nicest racking slides of any .380ACP on the market today. You won’t believe the price of this gun with a LASER built in!
Top 10 Concealed Carry Guns #2: Ruger SR40c
The Ruger SR40c is the compact version of the popular Ruger SR series. The 40S&W is a super capable round with plenty of stopping power, but also a more gentle recoil than a .45ACP. The 40C has made it to number 3 on our Top 10 Concealed Carry Guns list.
