One of the Best Carry Guns. Period.
Ahh, the Taurus G4X.
What’s not to love?
After owning, carrying, and shooting the G4x for a few weeks, I must say: that it’s just about everything I love in a handgun.
The size, shape, contours – everything designed from the ground up to be one of the best budget concealed carry guns on the market.
From the Taurus website:
T.O.R.O. adopts the Taurus Optic Ready Option mounting system, which facilitates mounting of several popular micro-red dot sights. The T.O.R.O. system is designed around a factory optic-cut slide for those who desire the advantages of a low-print EDC handgun and the confident sight picture of a red dot. The GX4 T.O.R.O. also comes with a flush-mount slide cover plate for use with the non-optic option.

Here’s Why I Love the Taurus GX4
For me, carrying concealed is about protecting my family and saving lives.
I tend to focus more on my rights to carry rather than what “brand” I choose to carry. And while I love my Glock, Smith, and Wesson, and my 1911’s – I have to say this: “Taurus has come a long way in quality.“
The trigger on the GX4 feels crisp – much more like my favorite 1911 than most carry guns feel.
Scroll up to the picture of the GX4 in my hand above and you’ll see the contours in the backstrap of this gun. These contours are unlike anything I’ve felt in my hand before – and I may just be imagining this – but I feel like this contour allows me a more stable grip with less effort.
